MASS 10 :
The compact two-way MASS 10 satellite speaker is a stylish construction of rigid polymer, enveloped in a black cloth finish and crowned at either end with contrasting solid aluminium end caps.
Its 1-inch C-CAM® tweeter has a new low-profile design, conceived to maximise performance in reduced cabinet volumes.
A 4-inch C-CAM mid-bass driver is tie-bolt fixed to the back of the cabinet for reduced colouration and the Hive® reflex port is rifled to optimise airflow and limit turbulence.
The MASS 10 satellite can be wall mounted using a single point fixing located on the rear panel, which dovetails with an optional universal wall bracket for an easy, secure and reliable solution.
When wall mounting is not ideal, a dedicated MASS floor-stand with integrated cable management offers a wonderfully stylish alternative.

For the finest blend with décor and the latest ultra-thin wall-mounted TVs, the SoundFrame in-wall models offer an easy, elegant way to conceal the entire cabinet in a wall cavity. In technology and performance the SF1 and SF2 in-wall models are identical to their on-wall versions but achieve the ultimate flush-fitted look. Prefixed brackets and a redesigned surround facilitate the appearance of a hanging photo frame, which is possible only by mounting in-wall.

SoundFrame’s in-wall design is quick and easy to install. The unit simply slides into the wall cavity and is secured on four pre-fixed corner brackets.

Q Acoustics 5.1 speaker system

The 7000 speakers and subwoofer have been designed to be easily wall mountable. Once mounted the left, right and centre speakers can be angled to enhance their performance. The terminals are cleverly built into the mount which means speaker cables can be hidden from view, making these ultra discreet speakers an excellent choice to partner a wall mounted screen.

7000 series models are full range with higher than normal power capability which means they can be used without a subwoofer. This makes them the ideal choice where a subwoofer cannot be accommodated and there is a requirement for a small, discreet, speaker. Perfect for lounge, dining room, bedroom, study, kitchen or conservatory.

Focal Dome 5.1 speaker system

The Focal Dome system consists of five spherically shaped die-cast aluminum alloy satellite speakers accompanied by a sleek-looking dome-shaped subwoofer. The compact, voguish satellites can be installed on a stand or table, or mounted on a wall or ceiling. The Dome satellites are solid, very well built and virtually disappear in a typical room. The system is available in 2.0, 2.1 or 5.1 channel configurations with a high-gloss lacquer black, white or a brilliant red finish. My review set was a 5.1 channel Focal system in lacquer black.

The two-way satellites are outfitted with a 4" Polyglass mid-bass driver and a 1" inverted aluminum/magnesium dome tweeter. The satellites are mounted on a small pedestal for table, shelf or wall mounting. The pedestal can be removed for placement on optional Focal speaker stands and when mounted on a wall or on the ceiling, the speakers can be adjusted to point towards the listening area.

B&W CM8

Bowers and Wilkins' CM8 speakers are high performance free standing speakers which incorporate technology developed by B & W over several years to give sharp and detailed sound.

The CM8s don't have the complex flowing shapes of some of Bowers & Wilkins speakers, but they still incorporate features such as Kevlar cones for the bass and mid range drivers and the "Nautilus" tapered tube enclosure for the tweeter, which reduces errant noise and improves the detail of the speakers' output. Because of the quality of the CM series drivers B&W can use simple crossovers, often incorporating just one carefully chosen component, to give a gentle transition between them without having to worry about electronics which might distort the sound.
